Meet Dr. Nadia Stymiest, the entrepreneur behind Ladysmith Smiles and now, Nanaimo Smiles.
Dr. Nadia Stymiest, founder of Ladysmith Smiles, is proud to announce her second location, Nanaimo Smiles is opening at 2700 Norwell Dr Nanaimo, BC this November 2022. After a year of bringing smiles to the Ladysmith community, Dr. Stymiest is looking forward to expanding her reach in order to provide accessible dental care to Nanaimo, Parksville and the surrounding area.
The newly built space features beautiful large windows, a comfortable waiting area and state-of-the-art treatment rooms. The only thing not new at this dental office is our mission to provide exceptional and accessible dental care to the community.
For some of you, Dr. Nadia Stymiest will be a familiar face already as she has been practicing as a general dentist and serving the Nanaimo area since 2013. Her practice includes all aspects of dentistry, with a particular interest in oral surgery, pediatrics and restorative dentistry. Nanaimo Smiles offers: teeth whitening, Invisalign, Nitrous Oxide sedation (laughing gas), therapeutic and cosmetic injections (Dysport), fillings, porcelain veneers, and cleanings.
At Nanaimo Smiles, you can expect to be greeted with a smile and treated like family. Dr. Stymiest and her team adhere to a strict “All Smiles Welcome” policy so that every member of our community feels safe and respected in our space. With everything from pediatric to restorative dentistry, Nanaimo Smiles can accommodate new patients of all ages. As a mom of two herself, Dr. Stymiest understands how to make even the youngest patients feel comfortable in the dental chair.
Get to know your new Nanaimo family dentist a little bit better; here are five things you may not know about Dr. Stymiest:
- She loves to garden, grow flowers and write poetry, some of which has been exhibited.
- Dr. Stymiest used to be a pilot!
- She is multilingual, speaking English, Spanish, Hindi and Urdu. If you speak any of these, Dr. Stymiest would love to brush up on her skills during your next appointment!
- When she’s not Dr. Stymiest, she is ‘Mom’ to two kiddos (Zara and Zayn) and out of the family, she has the biggest sweet tooth!
- She loves puns and knock-knock jokes…make sure you ask her (and the rest of the Nanaimo Smiles team) for their best dental joke during your next visit! With that being said, we will leave you with a little dental riddle: Why did the phone go to the dentist? Any guesses? Make sure you ask our team for the answer when you come in!
